About Radiotherapy
Dr. Simoncini does not approve the use of radiotherapy to treat solid tumors because although it is possible to eliminate a tumor somewhere in specific, the tumor often relocates to one or more different places which makes patient's condition even worse. The radiotherapy has in addition other side effects which will be detailed below.
However, Dr. Simoncini approves the use of radiotherapy in bone cancer and non-solid cancer types such as lymph or blood cancer since these cancer types cannot be treated with the Simoncini Protocol.
This is why when there is bone cancer with metastasis in breast, lung or liver, radiotherapy is used to treat the bone cancer (such as spine cancer) first, and after cancer is eliminated in that zone and it metastasizes to some other organ then the Simoncini Protocol is used in order to eliminate it easily. This is the technique of an expert in cancer.
When researching on radiotherapy on the Internet we can find an endless number of sites that approach the subject. Regarding radiotherapy side effects, many of these sites affirm that these are almost inexistent. But, is this treatment really that safe?
When doctors use radiotherapy, they obviously mean only to attack the cancer and eliminate it. Nevertheless, as you may guess, when using this method not only the cancerous cells are bombed by the radiation, but also all the healthy cells surrounding them. At the moment there are new techniques being developed that allow to focus the radiation only on the cancerous cells. Nevertheless, the radiation is a type of energy that cannot be controlled by man so easily. Like chemotherapy, in order to kill the almost indestructible cancerous cells, it is obviously needed a dose of radiation so powerful that it ends up destroying the healthy cells first which are much more vulnerable than the cancerous cells, consequence that is almost impossible to prevent.
According to several sources, although radiotherapy affects the healthy cells, too the tumor cells are more radiation-sensitive and cannot repair the produced damage as efficiently as the cells healthy do, so tumor cells are destroyed by blocking the cellular cycle. However, is this really true? it is necessary to consider that radiation regardless of the method and regardless of the equipment used is still radiation.
Radiotherapy Side Effects
Radiation damages the genetic structure of the cells due to its ionizing effect. Moderate damages in the DNA can be repaired but when not, the DNA of the cell is destroyed causing the death of the cell in many cases and consequently generating an important deficiency in the organism functions. By the contrary, if the DNA of the cells is permanently damaged without the cell being destroyed, the cell can mutate causing various cancer types such as leukemia since this cancer type can originate easily due to natural radiation even at low levels.
Another very common side effect when permanent damage in the cellular DNA is made, besides cancer probabilities, is the passing of these damaged genes to later generations making them vulnerable to the same risks and effects produced on the members of the first generation. All these side effects are likely to appear even with radiotherapy at low levels and these increase as the radiotherapy intensity increases.
